I am very happy with this front page and it will be my final one
I think that this will be my final choice for the editor's letter page as I like it and I don't think it needs anything more or that there is anything wrong with it.
I like this contents page and obviously I will add more of the cover story logo-things. Otherwise I think it is good.
This is my altered and improved double page spread. I have decided finally on this design. I think that the title of the double page spread works well but I am yet to add text to the blue space at the bottom. I am planning to include 4 columns of text and a pull quote as well. Otherwise I think it looks good.
This is my front page up to this point. I have more plans for other touches I will add to this. For example, I will put cover stories underneath the 'cape town'. I will also place a kicker above the masthead reading 'southern hemisphere issue'. Also I am thinking about changing the fonts of these again but I am not entirely sure what to do with it.

This is evidence for the survey which I set up and sent to my classmates to get them to give feedback on which contents page design they thought was the best. So far, blu is the most popular, as the results below are showing:
This is an entirely different design option for the contents page but I think I prefer the simplicity of the other one overall.
I do like this one, more than the blue, but maybe not more than the gree, but I still cannot decide. I think the brown nicely represents dirt of exploring or somesuch imagery.
This one is green and it so far has the msot acclaim on my survey on survey monkey with 100% of ther vote. I think I will probably end up using this one.
This is one option of the colour for the contents page of my magazine, I am still not yet to decide on which design to use.
This is obviously the same as the last one, but with the pictutres at the bottom as I suggested I would do.
I also imagine that I will put one or two pull quotes in the text or some more pictures. Maybe also I will put an image held up by a pin nearer the top of the page, to give the 'backpacker' effect.
I like this to an extent, however I think that the four pictures in the middle disrupt the feel of the the page and it looks disconnected. I think it would be better to line the bottom of the right page with the pictures instead, so I will try that for the next draft. I think I like this draft the best out of the first 3 ones. I have also used all of my own images in this double page draft.
This is the second draft of a front page. I think I prefer the last one but this represents going "into the unknown" more than the other draft. Still not sure which one to select/improve.
This is one of my possible front page spreads. I like it but I'm not really sure about it, I have another one but I'm not particularly happy with that either. I prefer this one but the other is just an option.
