Second Double Page Spread Draft

This is a colour and image variation on the previous version of the same style. I think this one gives a very different feel. It makes things happier and slightly less formal/serious. However, I like both drafts, this however is my own image which makes it slightly better. I also added the squares next to the title/magazine header. I'm not convinced by them but they could be slightly more page filling than the draft without them.

First Draft Double Page Spread

I didn't use my own image for this one, and I was trying out the style that I had seen on this Double Page Spread:

I do like the style, but it looks hard to create without it looking tacky and to make it nicely compliment the page etc...

I will try out some other double page spread designs and colours to test the difference.

Obviously there would be text in the white space at the bottom.

First Front Page

For this I decided to do something simple to highlight the picture in the background and to use that as a way to intise/invite readers based on a love for travel and stunning vistas.

First Draft Masteahds

I chose to use the top masthead because although it is simple, it is the least flowery/flicky or informal.
